TURKEY : ONE OF THE LEADING COUNTRIES IN HAIR TRANSPLANT in 2020

While Turkey attracts domestic and foreign tourists with many historical, cultural and touristic works at its borders as well as cities that leave traces of the ages, it is also mentioned by its advancements in health tourism – Turkey, which is on the list of “countries of priority” of tourists and which is defined as “Paradise country” of travellers, has become the reference country of – “Turkey is one of the world’s leading countries in hair transplant. The hair transplant operations performed in Turkey shape the image of the world’s people and also make great contributions on economy. – Turkey Health Tourism Development Council member Kurt: “Turkey is one of the leading countries in the world about hair transplant. Our doctors dealing with health tourism have serious hand skills around the world. Our achievements in this field are spreading all over the World Day by day” – “in 2017, it was determined that more than 1 million people came to Turkey for health tourism. More than US $ 10 billion foreign exchange inflow has been provided to Turkey. Our goal is to increase this number much more by 2023.

Turkey, which is the favorite of tourists with its historical, cultural and touristic works, is the locomotive of health tourism and provides foreign currency entry as well as determining the image of the world through successful work in hair transplant.

Turkey, which is defined as “Paradise Country” by the Travelers, is listed in the list of “countries that should be seen first” by the tourists. Turkey has strengthened its position as an indispensable holiday destination of world countries, especially Asia, Europe and the Middle East, and has become the Center in hair transplant while raising the bar of success with the concept it has created in health tourism in recent years. It has reported that, Turkey accomodated people from more than 70 countries who want to have hair transplant.

Safiye Kurt, a member of Turkish healthcare Tourism Development Council, stated to correspondent of AA that ‘Turkey is one of the world’s leading countries in hair transplant. Our doctors dealing with health tourism have serious hand skills around the world. Our achievements in this field are spreading throughout the world from day to day. In almost all areas of Turkey, hair transplant operations continue in a quality and safe manner.’ Kurt said ‘Turkey, with it’s hair transplant quality and the success in the form of hair created is above world standards.The eyes on earth are now turning towards Turkey.’

Kurt emphasized that there is a big demand for Turkey from countries in the Middle East; Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Europe, Germany, England, Holland, Italy, Spain, France. Turkey’s geographical location, hospitality and beauty also contribute positively to the developments in health tourism. She said that patients from abroad were welcomed at the airport accompanied by professional interpreters, and that they moved to the hospital and the hotels where they would stay by VIP vehicles.  Kurt reminded that tourists visited the historical, cultural and touristic places of Istanbul and Turkey during the tourism program offered after hair transplant and aesthetic operations.

Kurt said, “Hair transplant operations are sold to serious high numbers worldwide. They can have their operations in Turkey by paying half of the figures they will pay in their own country, and they can have their holiday in Turkey.

 

– “In 2017, $ 10 billion foreign currency input was provided”

Pointing out that there was a 31 percent increase in health tourism last year, Kurt said:”in 2017, more than 1 million people came to Turkey for health tourism. More than US $ 10 billion foreign exchange inflow has been provided to Turkey. Our goal is to increase this number much more by 2023. We try to do our best to raise this number as companies, hospitals and health groups working for health tourism in Turkey.”

Kurt stressed that, In the past, people went to Europe and the United States for health services, but with state-sponsored high-tech facilities, people from these countries are now turning to Turkey. “In the past years, people from many countries, including the Turkish people, have preferred European countries or the United States to be treated. Thanks to the beautiful support of our state in recent years, our hospitals have developed themselves and started to establish high-tech facilities. Now, Turkey has started to take patients from all branches of the world countries. Also on the plantation, Turkey has already opened to the world. Today, Turkish clinics and physicians are on their way to carry out hair transplant operations in many hospitals abroad with special invitations. Many doctors and health professionals around the world come to Turkey to receive training in hair transplant.”
