ASMED Dr. Koray Erdogan: 4,405 Grafts FUE Patient Case

Patient-reported case archive: This archive documents an ASMED / Dr. Koray Erdogan hair transplant result. The original technical notes, timeline and photos are preserved below.
Case Summary
- Clinic: ASMED, Istanbul
- Doctor: Dr. Koray Erdogan
- Transplanted grafts: 4,405
- Technique: FUE
- Reported donor capacity: 8,700 grafts (not the number transplanted)
Compare the treated area, hairline design, donor preservation and final density rather than graft count alone.
For current clinic information, see our ASMED / Dr. Koray Erdogan clinic profile. Because this case uses FUE, our FUE vs DHI comparison explains the technique context, while our Turkey reviews guide explains how to assess patient-result pages.
How to Interpret This Patient Case
This page is an archived patient case rather than a controlled clinical study. Graft count, technique, timing, pricing and patient impressions should be read as historical case details only where they were recorded in the original account. Hair-transplant outcomes vary with donor density, hair calibre, recipient-area size, surgical planning, healing and the progression of future hair loss.
This ASMED archive reports 4,405 FUE grafts and a separate estimated donor capacity of 8,700 grafts. The donor-capacity figure is not the number transplanted. Compare extraction distribution and donor photographs with the treated area; these historical figures are not independently verified or a treatment recommendation.
Useful Points to Compare
- Starting hair-loss pattern and donor density
- Reported graft count and recipient-area coverage
- Donor extraction pattern and visible thinning
- Hairline design, direction and density distribution
- Time elapsed between surgery and each photograph
ASMED 4,405-Graft Case: Procedure Record Explained
Important numerical distinction: This historical record describes 4,405 FUE grafts extracted and transplanted, not 8,700. The figure 8,700 grafts is listed as the patient’s estimated total donor capacity; it must not be interpreted as the completed transplant count. The account describes a 36-year-old patient with a frontal and crown restoration plan.
Reported graft breakdown and areas
The source lists 722 single-hair grafts, 2,369 doubles, 1,248 triples and 66 multiple-hair grafts. These items sum to 4,405. It separately describes about 3,400 grafts in the frontal/scalp region and about 1,000 in the vertex, which adds up to approximately 4,400 rather than the exact total. That small allocation difference is retained as a limitation of the archived description, not silently corrected.
The notes mention manual extraction with 0.6–0.8 mm punches and a lateral-slit technique. They also say finasteride was started two months before surgery; this is patient-specific medication history, not advice. These values are copied from the historical report and are not verified operative documents.
Photo interpretation and follow-up limitations
Compare frontal hairline placement, crown coverage and donor-region appearance separately. Without confirmed dates for each image or standardized lighting, the photos alone cannot establish final graft survival or a typical outcome. For related cases, see the ASMED 5,007-graft record and clinic background guide.
