How the Hair Transplant Planner Works
1. Tell us about your hair loss
Choose your age range, how long you have noticed hair loss and the areas you want to improve.
2. Select loss level
Choose mild, moderate or advanced loss so the planner can build a broad educational graft range.
3. Choose technique and city
Select FUE, DHI or “not sure yet,” then choose Istanbul, Antalya, Ankara or Izmir.
4. Review your estimate
You will receive an indicative graft-planning range and approximate Turkey price range to use as a research starting point.
What the Estimate Does — and Does Not — Tell You
This planner is educational, not diagnostic. A real surgical plan depends on donor density, hair calibre, scalp characteristics, future hair-loss risk, medical history and the surgeon’s assessment. The calculator does not replace an in-person or clinician-led evaluation.
How to Use Your Estimate
The number you see here is best treated as a starting point for comparison. If several clinics suggest a similar graft range, that can be useful context. If one quote is dramatically higher or lower, ask how the estimate was calculated and whether the donor area can safely support it.
Price ranges should be read in the same way. A lower package price may exclude medication, transfers, accommodation or aftercare, while a higher one may include more physician involvement or additional services. Compare the treatment plan first, then compare the package.
What Can Change a Graft Estimate?
Donor density
A dense donor area can usually support more harvesting than a weak or previously used donor zone.
Hair calibre and curl
Thicker or curlier hair can create more visual coverage with the same number of grafts.
Size of the thinning area
Frontal hairline work and large crown restoration have very different graft requirements.
Future hair loss
A conservative plan may deliberately save donor grafts for later if further thinning is likely.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the graft estimate exact?
No. It is an educational range. A real estimate requires donor-area assessment, hair characteristics and a clinician-led plan.
Why do clinics give different graft numbers?
Clinics may use different density targets, treatment priorities and donor assumptions. Very different estimates are worth questioning.
Does a higher graft number mean a better result?
No. More grafts are not automatically better if the donor area cannot support them safely or if the plan ignores future hair loss.
Can the planner tell me whether I am a good candidate?
No. Candidacy depends on medical history, donor quality, hair-loss pattern and other factors that require professional assessment.
Questions to Ask Before You Contact a Clinic
- How was my graft estimate calculated?
- Who will design the hairline and who will perform each stage?
- What happens if fewer grafts can be harvested safely on the day?
- What is included in the quoted price?
- What follow-up is available after I return home?
