Medeks Hair Clinic 5500 Grafts: Day-16 Patient Case

Patient-reported archive: This page documents a reported 5,500-graft Medeks Hair Clinic transplant at about day 16 after surgery.
Case Summary
- Clinic: Medeks Hair Clinic
- Grafts: 5,500
- Follow-up point: about day 16
- Patient concern: wounds after crust removal and fear of possible necrosis
The patient’s postoperative concern is preserved as part of the historical record and is not a diagnosis. Early wound concerns require clinical assessment rather than interpretation from photos alone. A photograph taken around day 16 cannot establish the eventual graft survival rate or final hair growth.
Further Reading and Case Context
Medical-safety context: This patient reported wounds after crust removal and concern about necrosis. Photographs or forum descriptions are not sufficient to diagnose tissue injury or infection. A person experiencing worsening pain, spreading redness, discharge or darkening tissue after surgery should seek prompt assessment from their treating medical team.
The original photographs and patient statement are an individual historical report. For a meaningful comparison, note the recipient area, donor appearance, number of reported grafts and whether follow-up times are identified. How to Interpret This Patient Case
This page is an archived patient case rather than a controlled clinical study. Graft count, technique, timing, pricing and patient impressions should be read as historical case details only where they were recorded in the original account. Hair-transplant outcomes vary with donor density, hair calibre, recipient-area size, surgical planning, healing and the progression of future hair loss.
When comparing this case with another result, look at the starting hair-loss pattern, donor appearance, lighting, hair length and the exact follow-up point. Early postoperative photographs mainly document placement and healing, while later photographs are more useful for judging cosmetic growth.
Useful Points to Compare
- Starting hair-loss pattern and donor density
- Reported graft count and recipient-area coverage
- Donor extraction pattern and visible thinning
- Hairline design, direction and density distribution
- Time elapsed between surgery and each photograph
Hello friends. Hair transplantation was performed at Medeks Hair Transplant Clinic by taking 5500 graft roots. I am satisfied with the hair transplantation, very interested and their workmanship was very good. It has been about 16 days, on the 12th day I shed the crust, of course, some wounds occurred, at first I was very afraid of necrosis, but there are transplanted hair in the wounds and it grows, hopefully it will pass
What are your recommendations for what I need to do. Do you think necrosis has occurred? If necrosis has occurred, what do you advise me to do? I would be glad if you specify in the comments
