ASMED Koray Erdogan 5014 Grafts: Real Patient Result

Patient-reported case archive: This archive documents an ASMED / Dr. Koray Erdogan hair transplant result. The original technical notes, timeline and photos are preserved below.

Case Summary

  • Clinic: ASMED, Istanbul
  • Doctor: Dr. Koray Erdogan
  • Grafts: 5014
  • Patient age: 33

In this reported 5,014-graft case, the patient recorded an average of 2.15 hairs per graft and a hair calibre of 60 microns. Those figures describe this individual case, not a guaranteed result or an independently verified clinic average. With a session of this size, evaluating donor density and postoperative donor photographs is particularly important.

For current clinic information, see our ASMED / Dr. Koray Erdogan clinic profile. Because finasteride is part of this patient’s timeline, see our finasteride results guide; for broader patient-experience context, see our Turkey reviews guide.

How to Interpret This Patient Case

This page is an archived patient case rather than a controlled clinical study. Graft count, technique, timing, pricing and patient impressions should be read as historical case details only where they were recorded in the original account. Hair-transplant outcomes vary with donor density, hair calibre, recipient-area size, surgical planning, healing and the progression of future hair loss.

When comparing this case with another result, look at the starting hair-loss pattern, donor appearance, lighting, hair length and the exact follow-up point. Early postoperative photographs mainly document placement and healing, while later photographs are more useful for judging cosmetic growth.

Useful Points to Compare

  • Starting hair-loss pattern and donor density
  • Reported graft count and recipient-area coverage
  • Donor extraction pattern and visible thinning
  • Hairline design, direction and density distribution
  • Time elapsed between surgery and each photograph

The Medication Timeline in This 5,014-Graft Archive

The source describes a 33-year-old patient and an archived 5,014-graft case with a reported 2.15 hairs per graft and 60-micron hair thickness. It also describes taking Propecia from early 2018 to early 2019, interrupting treatment, and restarting around September 2019, roughly 105 days before the procedure. These dates and choices are the patient’s own recollection and are not medical instructions or evidence of causality.

Photographs described as dry or wet hair conditions can appear very different even without treatment. A fair comparison should keep hairstyle, lighting and elapsed time in mind. The available account does not establish a standardized final result or independently verify the reported graft count. See our finasteride guide for general risks and evidence.

Hello there

I had a hair transplant in Doctor Koray Erdogan’s clinic

Age: 33
Use of Finasteride: I used Propecia from the beginning of 2018 to the beginning of 2019, then I took a break and started using it again as of September 2019 (about 105 days before the hair transplant). I intend to continue using it for 1 year after hair transplantation.

Average hair / graft ratio: 2.15
Hair thickness: 60 micron

Before using Finasteride, I share my dry and wet hair condition that I took on 9.8.2019.

I will keep sharing as the process progresses, good years to everyone
