Medeks Hair Center – 5200 Grafts – Istanbul

Hello everyone, after doing some research on the forum, I decided to get a hair transplant at Medeks Hair Center. I took my brother with me and we both had the transplant done at the same time.

We arrived at the clinic a little early in the morning and were greeted by a lady who made us tea and coffee. We chatted with her and she was very positive. Then Mr. Gökhan arrived and drew the hairline and took the roots. He came back during the other stages to check how things were going. To be honest, some friends on the forum said that Mr. Gökhan never came to check on them, never even came near them, etc., so I was a little nervous, but he was very attentive.

What was generally written on the forum about the transplant process was that you only feel the anesthetic needles in the back of your head at first, and then you don’t feel anything. Frankly, that wasn’t the case for me. I think my pain threshold is low, so it was quite uncomfortable. In fact, I can say that the first injections in the neck were less uncomfortable than the transplant process itself for me. Not being able to lie in the same position for too long may have contributed to this because lying on your back for 5 hours is incredibly difficult. If they had told me there was only an hour left, I probably would have gotten up from the table 🙂

By the way, I would also like to thank Mr. Mustafa, who was always by my side during the transplant process. He was attentive and answered our questions. I can say that the anesthetic injections he gave were less painful than the others’, or maybe it was because of his conversation 🙂

I’ll add more as I remember things. For now, I’ll share some photos of my transplant process and wrap it up. I’m especially curious about your thoughts on the hairline and graft distribution, friends. It seems to me like there was a bit less transplanting in the middle and back areas, but I’d appreciate it if experienced friends could comment on the transplant density and hairline.
